1. Start correctly. Forced starting without hot water preheating or starting without cooling water may cause the temperature of piston and cylinder liner to increase sharply and strain the cylinder liner, or crack the cylinder liner after adding cold water. It is not correct to start by tractor traction or sliding slope, which should be avoided. Don't start the engine immediately after starting. Run it at low speed for a period of time to fully preheat the engine. Start the engine when the water temperature reaches above 40 ℃, and load the engine when the water temperature reaches 60 ℃.

2. Pay attention to skid resistance. In winter, when the road is covered with snow and ice, the adhesion of the tire becomes poor and it is easy to slip. Therefore, when driving on ice and snow roads, the tractor should be equipped with anti-skid equipment such as anti-skid chain and triangle skid. The speed should be slowed down appropriately and run at a constant speed to avoid emergency braking. The distance between the two vehicles should be increased to twice of the normal distance, and a large transverse distance should be maintained when entering to prevent side sliding and collision. When going up and down the slope, low gear should be selected to keep the speed uniform. It is forbidden to shift gears in the middle of the road, so as to avoid sliding caused by improper operation.

3. Preheat properly. In severe cold season, it is often difficult to start the tractor. Therefore, it is necessary to fully preheat the tractor before starting. First, warm up the engine body with hot water about 80-90 ℃. For the first time, do not use too hot water, so as to avoid the body, cylinder head and other parts are cold suddenly meet high temperature and be cracked. When adding water, turn on the drain switch, use the method of draining water while heating water, until the body drain valve flows out of warm water, close the drain valve, and fill up with boiling water. When the temperature is very cold, the engine oil should be preheated. Fill the oil in the oil pan discharged during the shutdown in the container, warm it with hot water, then inject it into the oil pan, and rotate the crankshaft for dozens of turns to make all parts fully lubricated before starting. It is forbidden to bake the engine with open fire.

4. Use fuel correctly. The fuel of tractor is mostly diesel oil, which can be divided into 20, 10, 0, - 10, - 20, - 35, etc. The number is the temperature indicating the freezing point. For example, the freezing point of No. 10 diesel oil is 10 ℃; the freezing point of - 10 diesel oil is - 10 ℃. In winter, diesel oil should be selected according to the local air temperature. Generally, diesel oil with freezing point 5-10 ℃ lower than the local minimum temperature should be selected. For example, when the local Zui low gas temperature is - 5 ℃, No. - 10 diesel oil can be selected; when the Zui low gas temperature is - 5 ~ - 10 ℃, No. - 20 diesel oil can be selected.
