Do tractors have titles ?

A farm tractor is a major investment that you will use for years to come. At this point, you may be like most of us who are considering buying a new or used farm tractor and are wondering, do farm tractors come with a title?

If it is a large construction tractor used for commercial work, then it has a title. You have a receipt or invoice as proof of title. In the United States, farm tractors used as road tractors to mow right-of-way or rented out for transporting goods on the road must be registered and titled.

If we farmers don't have a title, how do we prove ownership? Do farm tractors have this exemption from title in most states in the United States? Read on as we try to answer all of these questions and more. You don't want to miss out!

Does the tractor come with a certificate of title?

A certificate of title (often called a "certificate of title") is a document used in the United States to show legal ownership of a vehicle.

Farm tractors can range from $25,000 to $350,000, so you will need a certificate of title for your tractor.

However, for most farm tractors and in most states in the United States, they do not come with a certificate of title.

A tractor may come with a certificate of title, but this is not exactly the same as a certificate of title. But at this time, in the absence of a title deed or certificate of ownership, your best option is to keep the receipt issued when you purchased it.
