5. Abnormal consumption: the consumption of fuel oil, lubricating oil and cooling water is obviously higher than usual.

6. Abnormal function: for example, it is difficult to start, shut down automatically in operation, clutch slipping or not separating, brake failure, transmission difficult to shift or automatically shift, steering failure, light not on, etc.

So how to identify the tractor failure for novices?

(1) Listening: for some abnormal sounds, it is necessary to determine its source, tone and characteristics (whether it is continuous or not), change the engine speed, change the direction, or use a long handle screwdriver to assist in auscultation.

(2) Observation: observe the smoke and color of exhaust, operation, relative position of each part, deviation of instrument reading, speed of raising or settling of agricultural tools, and the leakage of gas, oil and water.

(3) Touch: touch with your hand to feel the temperature, vibration, manipulation, etc.

(4) Smell identification: smell the smell of burning clutch friction plate, inorganic oil smell in exhaust, source and concentration of other peculiar smell.
