If you can also talk to the manufacturer or dealer about the maximum power, it will help to determine which tractor's actual power or reserve power is greater.

Transmission type
Tractor's technical grade, mainly look at the transmission. At present, power shift is more fashionable, many tractors are said to be power shift tractors. In fact, the gap between tractors with high and low power shifts is still quite large compared to tractors with semi-power shifts (also known as zone or segment power shifts). Although it is much more advanced than pure mechanical transmission, but the gap with semi-power shift, far greater than the gap between semi-power shift and full-power shift. Transmission technology grade, from low to high order is, pure mechanical, high and low power shift, semi-power shift, full power shift and non-stage variable speed. The higher the technical grade of the transmission, the better the economy of the tractor, which is also the root cause of the higher the price of the higher technical gearbox. However, it should be noted that the high-grade transmission, in shifting gears, may feel relatively slow reaction, feel more "meat", which is normal.

Wheelbase.
The wheelbase is the centerline of the front and rear wheel shafts, at a horizontal distance (see E in the diagram). As long as the manufacturer or dealer inquiries, you can obtain accurate values, you can also use a length of more than 3 meters of tape measure. The wheelbase parameter is an advantage for some tractors and a disadvantage for some tractors. The advantages of wheelbase are that the tractor shelf is large, the structure weight is heavier, the vertical stability is good, and the weight can be added less when working under heavy load. The problem brought about by the large wheelbase is that when working at light load, the weight of the tractor can not be reduced, the fuel consumption is large, the turning radius is too large, not flexible. Small wheelbase, high-power tractors, generally not suitable for pure traction heavy-duty operations, such as traction-type deep pine machine, traction, etc. , while large wheelbase, small-power tractors, it is difficult to adapt to a variety of light, heavy-duty operations of the "one-stop tractor."
